Meet the Staff

God has uniquely gifted and placed us at Louisiana Tech. Jennifer is the director and her husband, Leland, is a mechanical engineering professor. Jennifer served with Chi Alpha at Washington State University before coming to Louisiana. They came to Louisiana Tech from Washington state and have served the university since 2008. Leland and Jennifer also have a son named Joshua who is the life of the party. Montana, their Great Pyrenees, is amazing. Keep an eye out for Montana sightings on campus. The family is passionate about loving and making a difference in the lives of university students, faculty, and staff at Tech.

Brittany Reynaud is a Louisiana Tech alumni who is passionate about connecting and reaching students for Jesus. Growing up in church her whole life, it wasn't until she joined Chi Alpha in college that she began understanding the value of intentional discipleship and living in true community. Life is too hard to do alone. We need people in our corner. Brittany is passionate that giving students a place to belong helps them also have a safe space to explore who Jesus is and the hope and transformation He can bring. Brittany and her husband, Daniel, have been married since 2009. They have two amazing boys- Brant and Ezra.

Logan and Malori Sims are Louisiana Tech alumni. They met in high school, came to Tech in 2016, and have been married since June 2022. While a student, Malori experienced the Chi Alpha family which embraced her and challenged her. She grew closer to Jesus through the Chi Alpha family. Logan’s story also begins with the Chi Alpha family and its love for Christ and each other. He was encouraged and mentored to seek the Lord with this group of people, helping him know Truth and the freedom that it brings. Both Logan and Malori value creating fun community that allows students to belong and have a home on campus. They desire to see students be transformed by Jesus! They are excited to invite others into the family and see what God has in store!
